September 13th marked the date of the Venice Vintage Motorcycle Rally. Weeks prior I began having major work done on my Honda CB400F and was stoked to show it off. I drove from the east side of Los Angeles over to beautiful Venice Beach to meet up with other riders and check out some amazing motorcycle companies, eat some bbq and jam to live rock in the presence of hundreds of other machine heads.
It's really cool to be part of a community that cares so much about old machines. There's a certain charm that just doesn't come with a brand new bike and that only comes after a few decades of love and attention. I love these bikes for the same reasons I love designing for New Scouts - the focus is always on durability, community and celebrating goods that are made to last.
